5 Days / 4 Nights Southern Myanmar Tour
Tour Code : TT – 003 Yangon – Golden Rock – Hpa.an – Mawlamyine – Yangon
Day 1: Yangon city tour – full day
Shwedagon Pagoda, Downtown walking, boat ride on the Yangon river, Bogyoke Aung San Market, Bogyoke Aung San Museum, A local market, National Museum, Yangon Circular Train ride, Chauk Htat Kyi Buddha, Botahaung Pagoda, Kalaywa Monastery, Saimary cathedral, Kandawgyi park, Allied War Memorial Cemetery in Yangon and night market.
Day 2: Yangon – Golden Rock (by private car)
Leave aroung 08:00 from your hotel by private car and guide to Golden Rock Pagoda. Visit Kyakawine Monastery in Bago which is on the way to Golden Rock Pagoda.
On arrival In Golden Rock basecamp. Go up the hilltop where Golden Rock pagoda exists by trucks serving mainly local pilgrims. Stay overnight there (if your hotel is up there)
Day 3: Golden Rock – Hpa An
Go down the hill by truck. Meet our driver at the basecamp and drive to Hpa An. On arrival In Hpa An. Visit to Kawgun cave and then drive to Kayin village area and continue on foot to a local house in a village where we have home cook lunch then (if you walk around the villages). Then we walk back to our car to visit Suddha Cave driving through the forest villages. If we have time, do additional sightseeing for the rest of the sites there before you are transferred to your hotel.
Day4: Hpa-An – Mawlamyine
Drive to Mr. Na Auk village which is on the way to Mawlamyine.
Visit some temples built in British period in there. Then continue to Mawlamyine. On arrival in Mawlamyine, visit a late 19th century style monastery and stroll around the town then have home cook lunch in a local house, after that drive to Winsein Taw Ya 165m long reclining Buddha image. Back to Mawlamyine to enjoy sunset from Kyike Than Lan pagoda on the highest land of the town from which we look over on the town then transfer you to your hotel.
Day 5: Mawlamyine – Yangon
Visit Bago city on the way back to Yangon. On arrival in Yangon, transfer back to your hotel
